Book with us NOW for Glastonbury Festival 2027 – Find Out More
A message from Alan and Beverley
Booking for Glastonbury 2027
General festival tickets go on sale on 4 October, and we are now taking bookings for the Glastonbury period.
Glastonbury Festival stays and Duke of Edinburgh camps are the only exceptions to our 2027 break. We will not be open for general camping next year.
If you plan to cycle in — it’s about 12 minutes to the official bike park — we have plenty of bikes to hire.
There is a 5-night minimum stay, which you can book on our website. Need a different length of stay, or extra nights either side? Email or call us and we’ll help.
A note about 2027
Thank you to everyone who stayed with us in 2026 — it’s been a wonderful season.
After a lot of thought, we have decided to take a break from general camping in 2027. We will still welcome guests for Glastonbury Festival and Duke of Edinburgh groups.
We’ll be sorry to miss a year with our regular visitors. If those plans change, we’ll update this page.
Thank you, and warm wishes for the year ahead.

Don’t just take our word for it – read what our visitors say about Greenacres! We’d like to thank everyone for staying with us and taking the time to let us know about their time with us.
Just returned home after a lovely stay at Greenacres Camping. The site is well positioned, lots of local places of interest. Wells and Glastonbury near by.

We have just returned from a lovely short holiday at Greenacres Camp Site. The site itself was great – a lovely size, lots of space and I loved that the play area was easily accessible (and viewable from a distance!) plus children could play in the middle area too. I only wish we could have stayed longer and make the most of the cycle hire too. Brilliant location as well, we will be returning!

Lovely peaceful campsite with all the things you need! Lovely owners and affordable prices !! Really close to Glastonbury and Wells !

Great for kids and parents
My seven year old daughter came back with stories of fairy doors, making friends and playing with other kids, and a great play area. My husband said he managed to get some time to himself in front of the fire pit. Alan and Beverley are very helpful hosts.

Have recently come back from a school camp trip to Greenacres. The owners were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make sure the trip was memorable for all. It was incredibly hot and they offered advice of where we could take a walk in the shade with the kids and didn’t mind the kids playing with the water. Very relaxed feel, would highly recommend for group camping
Loved our stay at Greenacres. Peaceful location, everything on site needed for a relaxing break. And a great location for touring the area. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We have just got back from a fabulous few days staying at Greenacres. A lovely safe site for kids to play, massive pitches to fit in all those camping essentials! Facilities on site including communal fridges and freezers, gallons of hot water, for showers and pot washing, a small library with books and games and a play area for the littleuns.
Fire pits for hire as well as bikes and things to keep all ages occupied!
Nearby to many local attractions. Helpful and considerate owners! Highly recommend!!!

This campsite and the owners have created a peaceful and restful place where you can unwind. The facilities are basic but it has everything you need. The area is beautiful and Beverly and Alan couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.
Honestly the best campsite we have ever stayed at and will definitely be back. A truly wonderful place!!!

A hidden gem. Absolutely marvellous campsite with very friendly and welcoming owners. Right in the middle between Glastonbury and Wells and very near the gorgeous Mendip Hills. We loved the quietness. Only downside was the overcast weather, because I think otherwise it is also a great place for some stargazing.

Came home on the 21st after staying here for the week and wow we had the best time. The site is so lovely and clean and the facilities are just great even down to the fridges and freezers that you are able to use. My daughter had so much fun on the park and in the little play house. The site is so peaceful and relaxing. Alan and Beverly were so welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much
