CORONAVIRUS UPDATE AND BOOKING POLICY
as at 18-May-2021
Greenacres Camping is currently closed, but will re-open on FRIDAY 28-MAY for the summer season, subject to Government restrictions continuing to allow this.
As we are in the second phase of lifting restrictions, some Government-decreed controls remain in place, so not all site facilities can currently be made available. Our Covid risk assessment will be kept updated with the details of controls in place. You can review the latest risk assessment document HERE.
The bookings calendar for 2021 dates is open and we are accepting bookings. All bookings will remain provisional at this stage and no advanced deposits are being taken at present. Our intention is that bookings will be confirmed and paid in full 2 weeks before arrival.
WHAT HAPPENS TO 2020 BOOKINGS?
We are keen to ensure that customers are treated fairly and don't lose the value of advanced payments they have made for bookings not fulfilled in 2020.
If you had a confirmed booking at Greenacres last year, then the following policy will apply ….
BOOKINGS FOR HOLIDAYS (excluding Glastonbury Festival)
We will, on request and without charge, change the date of your stay to ANY other date(s) during our 2021 camping season, subject to availability. The full value of any payments made will be rolled-forward to your new dates. Please just contact us to arrange, when you have chosen your dates.
BOOKINGS FOR THE GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL PERIOD
We will automatically, unless you tell us otherwise, roll-forward your booking and advanced payment to the corresponding Glastonbury Festival period in 2022. This is in line with the approach taken by the Festival itself, so the good news is that you’ll all have tickets! However, please note that 2022 prices cannot be guaranteed to be the same as 2020.
If this is not convenient, then we will on request and without charge, change the date of your stay to any other date(s) during our 2021 camping season, subject to availability. The full value of any payments made would be transferred to your new dates.
Please note that we are unable to agree to requests for refunds.
We believe the terms outlined are fair to all and comply with our Terms and Conditions of booking. The Coronavirus outbreak is a force majeure event which is beyond our control.
Fingers crossed that we will all be able to enjoy our little piece of Somerset specialness this year.
